Sacrifice

We all wait with anxious eyes,
As we do far too many times.
For love, fear or bravery,
What we selfishly could not,
Them to cover our behinds.

Wise, strong, compassionate, we are not
We made it, with heart wrenching saves,
I's survive, on others sacrificed time.
